The minimum height required for male candidates in Ground Duty (Technical/Non-technical) Branch is 157.5 cm. The minimum required height for the female candidate is 152 cm.
What does AFCAT stand for?
AFCAT abbreviation is the Air Force Common Admission Test. It is also known as the Indian Air Force Exam. AFCAT is a competitive exam that is conducted at a National level by the Indian Air Force (IAF) to select officers for all its branches.
Does AFCAT allow women candidates?
Yes, Women candidates are eligible to apply for AFCAT provided the candidate fulfills all the eligibility criteria set by the exam committee. Female aspirants must keep in mind that Women candidates are selected only for the Short Service Commission and not for the Permanent Commission.
What is the exam pattern of AFCAT coaching in Chandigarh?
The AFCAT question paper is set in English. The total number of questions in the paper is 100 for which candidates are given 2 hours. The paper type is objective. Every question is of 3 marks.
Does the AFCAT paper have negative markings for wrong answers?
Yes, there is a negative marking in the AFCAT exam. One mark will be deducted for every incorrect choice. If a candidate leaves a question, there is no penalty.
